Mark and Rebecca were fantastic to work with – responsive, respectful of social distancing, careful and thorough in work and explaining the process and system.

I can’t make enough positive comments about Waldo. They installed a 10KwH (30 panel) solar system at our house this year (July 2020). Mark and Rebecca make a fantastic team. They clearly know and love the products and solutions they offer. Fast and clear communication. Friendly service. High quality products and installation. Also, they installed in less than a week with essentially no disruption to our lives. We’ve always wanted solar but have been turned off by the large national vendors with questionable sales tactics. It’s great there’s a local vendor where you get the benefit and satisfaction of keeping your dollars in the community with, again, amazing customer service. I highly recommend Waldo if you’re in southern New England and are evaluating a solar solution.

I have a solar install company and have collaborated with Waldo Renewables on many jobs.I have the highest respect and admiration for both Mark and Rebecca Waldo.The craftsmanship and commitment to the solar installation and the customer is second to none.I would definitely recommend Waldo Renewables to anyone interested in going solar.

Up front very happy, now very disappointed. They had an opening in their schedule and removed my panels from my previous home with very efficient timing, were very professional, and quick. Once to the new location, I discussed with Mark mounting for the panels, inverter, etc. And all seemed well. I sent them the measurements required to get some engineering paperwork and never heard back. Then got told they went on vacation after cashing my check that should’ve covered more than the work completed this far, was provided no receipt, and after a whole week of waiting to hear back, was told they thought I was handling the install and have essentially ran with my money. I will update this review as the situation evolves, but until then… BEWARE!!! WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!

Update: I was provided a receipt for the move at full cost versus the lesser cost as insinuated by Mark after they dropped off the system at the new location, no word on install. Be careful, always get a written contract for work to be performed, nobody has enough integrity to stand behind their word anymore.

Update 2: due to leaving a poor review, they have decided to not continue working with me, instead of trying to remedy the situation. I will complete the install myself.

Top notch work! Have had our solar panels for 5 years now and they still work perfectly with no effort on our part. Thank you!

Very pleased with the appearance and performance of the installation. The equipment, both indoors and out is neat. The equipment appears to be of very good quality. We have been online now for three months, some of the best months of the year for solar generation and the performance has been excellent. The installation was a pleasant experience, the Waldo team was efficient, friendly and informative.

Mark took care of the installation and explained everything so I could understand. Love being able to turn on the AC and not worry!!!!

Environmental, cost effective, knowledgeable, reliable and comprehensive. Waldo renewable installed my homes solar system in a week. They were with me every step of the way. They provided comprehensive information and worked with the electric company, making the decision to use them effortless. I am now savings hundreds of dollars a month. I also know I am doing my part in providing clean energy as part of a global solution.

Waldo Renewable installed a 45KW solar array at our church 3 years ago, and our experience was excellent. Their work was very professional and of highest quality. They accomplished the job expeditiously and on budget, and it has performed superbly ever since. On the infrequent need for service they were very prompt and solved the problems.

Waldo Renewable did an amazing job in providing the solar energy system for the First Congregational Church of Guilford, CT. No other solar provider was able to provide the complete package of engineering, installation and financing that made this project feasible for us. We could not have done this project without their unique expertise. They are the best!

Waldo Renewable’s installation of our Solar array was an extremely pleasant experience from start to finish. They are a local installer known and active in the community. They met at the site to preliminary discuss the options and promptly followed with a very competitive proposal in which everything was clearly spelled out. The construction schedule was followed to a tee and it was enjoyable to follow the installation progress. Their interface with the electric company and building officials went very smoothly. Work proceeded in a neat, orderly and timely fashion and we were updated every day on its progress. The system, a rack mounted ground array located in a distant field away from our house, is exactly as they described and produces 80 kwh on a spring sunny day, which meets its design. We would highly recommend Mark and Rebecca Waldo, both of whom are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about solar energy, for any solar array installation.
