Synergy was honest from the start. No hidden costs, nor agendas. Thomas Hood came to the house, explained everything well and walked us through “going solar”. The electrician, Louis, explained what to look for with the system, told us how to figure out the SunPower app (pretty easy overall). We got a great overview of the system and it’s capabilities. The installation was very professional and they did a great job, even the town building inspector was impressed! I would highly recommend Synery Smart Homes.

If your new to solar. Thomas Hood is your guy and his team. They are from solar energy. They we perfessional and every question I had they answered. They were friendly and very courteous.

From start to finish this was expertly and professionally done. The team went above and beyond to make the project smooth and stress free. A special shout out to the electrical team, Luis in particular, for their attention to detail and their efficiency and excellent customer service. After the panels were installed and we got all the permitting done and the system was up and running, we discovered a problem with my electrical panel. It had absolutely nothing to do with their installation, but the fact that the electrician who installed my panel chose a cheep brand with unreliable breakers. Luis came the next day and replaced all the faulty breakers for me free of charge. I can’t say enough good things about this company and the great work that they did. I couldn’t be happier!!!!

Joe and Jay are very professional, quick and honest. They underpromised and over delivered on my install. 10/10 would recommend if you go with anyone else you are doing yourself a disservice.

I called many solar companies, trinity, sun run, momentum and Synergy. Sun run and momentum signed me into a contract without me knowing, very pushy and wanted to rush the project. Joe from Synergy broke down every aspect of how solar works and what would be best for my home, very down to earth and understood and most importantly listened to me. His team installed 45 panels in one day, no mess, very clean and professional. I haven’t had a problem since they got installed and the amount of money I am saving by going solar with them made me wish I would have gotten solar sooner. I’m so glad I went with this local company instead of a huge “well known” solar company with only looks out for their best interest. My parents and neighbors went with synergy and are over the moon with with the top of the line products Synergy uses I highly recommend them. Going with anyone else would just be foolish!

Synergy Smart Homes is the best choice of all the solar companies I have contacted. I have been told that I didnt have a good site. I have tried to be over sold. I have been told a lease is better for me and I have been told a lot of falsehoods. Joe, from Synergy listened to my plans and expectations and explained all options in simple language. It was a no brainer to go with Synergy. High end panels and system without the high prices of other companies. Very Professional, clean installation and prompt responses to phone calls and emails I financed through Ct Green Bank and they sent a independent inspector after installation for payment approval who commented on the great installation and the use of the best panels on the market. I couldnt be happier and am now enjoying my electric bill stating “no payment due” instead of “payment due”. I recommend Synergy Smart Homes to everybody I know and to all that stop by and inquire about the system. FIVE STARS!!!

From the beginning of the discovery process all the way up through activation, Anthony picked up the phone every time I called and answered every question I had on a PhD level.

We just activated our new solar panels a few days ago, so we haven’t yet seen a large sample of data, but so far the panels appear to be working as advertised. If anyone out there in CT is looking for solar, Synergy Smart Homes should be their first call.

Rich Love and the Sunpower team installed my solar system last May. We’ve been very happy with the solar production and service from the team. I was extremely hesitant to even considered solar. Thomas Hood spent over an hour going over every step and aspect of the solar program, and made it a no-brainer. The warranty and guarantees and all promises in writing made us feel at ease. Not only that, my new electric bill is HALF the price, and I didnt have to pay anything! What really sold the deal for my husband was the small, local, mom and pop feel that Synergy brought. The owner, Rich, called us to say thanks and he even stopped by during the install. I started my solar search in the fall of 2022 after getting absolutely slaughtered by UI electric bills all summer long. I wanted to do my due diligence before selecting a panel and installer, so I queued up a gazillion Youtube videos, scoured the internet, and filled out online questions.

Once I had a basic understanding of solar systems the real search began. I met with five different installers/providers over the course of the next month both in person and via video chat. There was one clear “winner”.

Rich Love and Synergy Smart Homes provided a fully comprehensive presentation of their services and company. Every single question I threw at him was answered with an astounding level of understanding and honesty; size of system, types of inverters, panel layout, hidden costs, warranty on roof and panels, do I need a battery, government rebates, all the way down to crunching financial loans numbers.

I’d be lying if I said its all rainbows and unicorns. Installing solar is a very lengthy process. Be prepared to wait weeks and months between steps. From the time we signed our agreement with Synergy Smart Homes it took about a month to complete the design, finance, and applicable permits. From there came the interconnection application with the electric company. UI was in no hurry to approve our application and this process took almost an additional four months. The installation took an additional three months waiting on final approval and weather. Once the install was completed it was an additional five frustrating months for the final inspection and electric company approval to operate. Start to finish 1 year and 1 month.

Is it worth it? …. Absolutely

I can honestly say that Rich Love and Synergy Smart Homes were there every step of the way. During the long waits they never ignored my calls or concerns and kept me updated of the process. They made sure things were done right and I received the best solar system for my household.

If you are like me and your blood pressure boils every time you get the electric bill in the mail, give these guys a call. My UI bills have dropped from a yearly average of 450$ to 10$ a month. The cost of my Sunpower system is around 220$ a month.

We went with Synergy to install a battery storage system. Everything from start to finish was great. Rich Love kept us updated throughout the process and is very communicative. Highly recommended. Hope to do more business with Rich and Synergy in the future.

So far everything has been great. Rich Love has been such a pleasure to work with. He has answered every single question and concern. He always gets back to me right away morning or night. He single handed sold me on Solar, SunPower, and Synergy. I looked into other companies and read a lot of concerns about solar overall. Rich, in depth, explained everything. I couldn’t be happier. The knowledge he shared with me was unreal. The work was very professional and clean. I will post another review once I’m a few months in how it is all going.
