Elite energy consulting is a scam, they put nice guys up front sell plans and don’t pay their employees – what a scam avoid solar and avoid ELITE ENERGY CONSULTING AT ALL COSTS… oh wait did they go bankrupt already seems they did not pay a lot of people … sad stay away from any project or company Steve L. I had the pleasure of working with Micah L. for my solar installation with Elite Energy Consulting, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From our initial consultation to the final steps, Micah was nothing short of honest and genuine. Their integrity was evident throughout the process, as they provided transparent and straightforward information without any hidden agendas.

Micah is very responsive. Any time I had a question or needed clarification, he was quick to respond, often getting back to me within the same day. This level of service made me feel valued and confident in my decision to go solar with Elite Energy Consulting. They made the entire experience smooth and stress-free, and I’m thrilled with the results.

Our experience with Elite Solar Consulting was horrible. We were strung along for months by banks then promised our deposit/assessment fee of $750 (which a few weeks after taking ours they stopped collecting) and once they failed to deliver there services the owner a Mr Lawrence, failed to return our deposit. We’re filing with small claims court now.

Don’t do business with them. They’re likely about to go out of business.

unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience. We have been waiting for 2 months for the promised return of 750$ – return calls go unanswered. We wanted to install but the initial promises were not kept. As a professional of 39 years, I was extremely disappointed in the lack of transparency. I hope the company keeps their word of giving us our money back….we are still waiting…the checks in the mail so they say.

5/6 we are still waiting a response, PLEASE Advise.

I had everything signed and deposit paid and asked to get the process running in early January. It took a month and a half to get them to take pictures at the house and they said they applied for permits in February but I just called the town and another month and a half later and they haven’t even put in for permits.

Still owe me almost $19,000.

Run as fast as you can. Stay away from this company. They are only good until you sign that contract. The used a subcontractor to install the panels. My roof is leaking and I have black mold in my attic. Elite sent the company who installed them to do an inspection. When they came they said the roof is too old so that’s why is leaking. I contacted Elite again and told them I was told an inspector cleared my roof before installing panels as good (but of course they did since they just wanted to sell me the panels) the second company I had come said the panels were installed wrong and that’s why it was leaking. They sent a team to fix that, but said company said i need a new roof and the wood in my attic that has black mold has to be replaced. Now Elite is ignoring all my calls and voicemails. Meanwhile my daughter is having a nasty cough and respiratory issues and her room is right where the attic entrance is. This people only care about making their sale. I will not stop until this is fixed. Contacting lawyers today. Don’t let my nightmare become your nightmare. Stay away from Elite.

Don’t do it! I was lied to from the beginning applied in May told I would be up and running by July didn’t get online until December. Had my first leak in January of 2023 still having leaks mold is now growing and Elite keeps passing the buck blaming the installer that they hired! And now they are saying my mold problem is caused by the leaks although I never had mold until the leaks started. I still have leaks over a year later and there is still no resolve to this problem. I have been asking for a manager to call me for months noone calls. I have been asking for a copy of the multiple repair orders never received. Also please note I hired a mold specialist who says my mold is from the leaks.

Honest and professional! The process went as planned and on time! Salesman Jake was not afraid to speak the truth and fairly represented the process.

At first we weren’t sure if we even wanted Solar because of how some of the panels look, I wanted all black panels to match the roof, and I wanted them to look ascetically pleasing to the eye. Jim listened to my needs, and was on top of it! Everything went smoothly with the install, and we are extremely pleased with the outcome

I had come to believe that this company had gone out of business. There were many delays early in my project which began in January 2022 (not a typo). Numerous attempts by me to reach the company went unanswered. Ten months in, October 2022, I was contacted personally by the CEO, Josh Jones. Josh provided what sounded to be an honest and reasonable assessment of the issues, sincere sounding apologies for the delays and communication problems, and suggested some project modifications that I agreed to, at additional expense to me. He also offered, and I agreed to accept, a modest financial compensation (less than the increase) based on the “lost summer” of solar production. It took several more months to mostly finish the project, which was turned on in February 2023. There was one additional piece needed for completion. This was left undone until November 2023, 22 months after the initial signatures. Furthermore, I have not received the noted compensation, along with other expected financial benefits discussed at the project start. Finally, Josh has refused any communication with me since that seemingly sincere phone call. Multiple attempts to reach him have gone unanswered.

Initially, I was excited about becoming an Elite Energy Consulting customer. At the time, the company had great reviews. I was looking forward to saving a ton of money on my electric bill.

My sales rep told me that the CEO, Josh Jones, wanted to help as many people go solar as possible.

I recently moved into my home with my young family and was excited for the next step after I passed the soft credit check.

Elite was going to send an engineer to my house to conduct a site survey and inspect my roof and electrical panel.

I was pleased when Elite covered an $800 electrical upgrade. During the survey, they didn’t find any issues with my roof.

Within a couple months, my panels were installed and I was telling all my friends and family to sign up for solar with Elite.

Then, the mess began. I was using an app to see how my panels were performing and I received an error message. My entire system went down. I had to pay my solar bill and regular electric bill. It was costing me hundreds of extra dollars.

Elite replaced a fuse and fixed everything, but I still haven’t been compensated by Sunnova.

A few months later, I noticed my roof was leaking. I was getting water damage in my attic and home.

I am puzzled how Elite didn’t pick up on this at the site survey. Elite sent out three guys to follow up on a complaint I made about it. They said that during the site survey, they only inspect parts of the roof where the panels are being installed. One guy offered to do a patch job as long as I would sign a waiver so Elite wouldn’t be held liable. I refused. He told me that if I had an issue to contact a lawyer. Then, he walked away. Now, I am going to have to pay thousands of dollars for a new roof when I would have initially included it in my solar proposal. I also have to pay thousands of dollars to have my panels removed, stored, and installed again after the roof is replaced. This is simply not what I envisioned when I became a customer with Elite.

I can’t imagine that Josh Jones doesn’t want to make this situation right.

Amazing place and excellent service. I met with Josh Kekac and he explained the product to me clearly and with real patience. We aren’t moving forward at this time, but likely will. I feel 100% comfortable with him and this company.

After meeting with other solar company reps that I didn’t like, I found Joshua Kekac through a FB group that highly recommended him. I’m so glad that I did! I asked him a million questions, in which he was able to answer in non-technical terms so that I could understand. Then he waited patiently, while I continued to ponder my choices. His honesty, knowledge & patience won me over. I signed on & Joshua, along with EVERYONE on his wonderful team guided me through the whole process. Through Elite & Gary Kohler, I was even able to get a new roof for the panels without any extra cost to me. My panels are up and running, and now I’m just loving the sunny days!

We had Elite Energy Consulting install a complete home solar array and from the very first contact all of their people were professional, polite, and knowledgeable. Connor was the sales representative and he explained the options for leasing or owning, the installation process, and the benefits of switching to solar. The team showed up at the appointed time, got to work immediately, and managed to complete the entire project in a day! The technicians, Brendan Murphy and Nick Magge, were very informative about every step of the process, worked with us to explain how the system works, and detailed how the final permitting would go. Personable, easygoing, and competent, they were fantastic to work with. The other part of the crew assembled the mounts and panels quickly, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to our day. All in all, the 5 star review I gave Elite Energy and their representatives was more than well deserved!

The entire team (Vu, Jay, Eric, Danny, Dylan, Will, and Rodney) rocks! They arrived on time, gave my pup all the pets, and finished up quick! Great work y’all
