We faced some challenges securing a permit from our town, causing several months delay in the process. However, apart from that, I have no complaints. The installation team was professional and efficient. Once we obtained the permit, the installation was scheduled promptly and completed within just two days. Since then, the system has been running flawlessly and reaches the estimates in regards to output.
If I were to consider solar installation again, I wouldn’t hesitate to call Damon again.
Without the town being the way they were, I would have given 5 stars.

Great company to work with. Had a few inverters fail after several years, and Damon and crew responded right away and got them serviced as soon as the weather allowed them to get on the roof safely and fix.

JD Solar Solutions continues to impress. After 5+ years, one of the optimizers failed. I sent Damon a text and he quickly fixed it at no cost! They were great to work with during the design and installation phase and continue to be outstanding in their support 5+ years later!
We met with several solar system businesses before deciding to move forward with JD Solar. Bob was down to earth, and answered all of our questions. JD Solar handled all of the paper work associated with permits, program applications, etc. The installation team was quick, but stopped to answer my questions, and they did a neat job. We also needed to have some associated electrical work done (moving the meter and installing a new main panel). JD made all of the arrangements for that, and Kevin’s team did a great job.
We are now producing electricity, and look forward to seeing our next Eversource bill. Based on the reporting of the Enphase application, I can see that the system is performing as expected, and all 28 of our panels and inverters are working.

We recently had a solar system installed at our home by JD Solar Solutions. We couldn’t be happier with the service and support they provided. Damon was a pleasure to deal with, taking time to explain the system and process, as well as answering any and all of our questions. He also was instrumental in pushing the project through with all the paperwork, permits, inspection, and coordination with the electric company. The installation team of Derrick and Igor was also excellent and addressed our concerns, especially regarding the aesthetics of the panels on our roof. Overall, we give JD Solar Solutions, our highest recommendation and rating.
I can’t say enough positive things about JD Solar. Damon got me a rough quote within an hour of a phone call, and confirmed it in person after checking the property within 2 day. The installation price was significantly better than local competitors, and he was straightforward, also unlike the competition. He doesn’t give you the shady salesman feeling…
Damon stated that he would file the permits immediately after signing the contract, and he did just that. He also set a realistic time frame as the permits take a while to get approved (they did). After that was set, the installation shortly followed. The installers were kind and professional, and incredibly informative. They were able to answer all of my questions and show me how to use the monitoring system.
The system is now up and running, and I couldn’t be happier. Damon followed up to make sure everything was good, and said if anything arises or I have any further questions, reach out whenever. He usually responds within 30 minutes.
They were recommended by several coworkers and I can see why they get so many word of mouth referrals. Do yourself a favor and get a quote.
I am in the ninth year of operation with the 24 panel system I purchased from JD Solar. From shopping, to dealing with the various permitting, to ensuring we recieved all the appropriate tax credits, to installation: the company was simply great. Very professional. Very high quality installation.
The system has paid for itself and then some now. We have almost no electric bill from April to October.
Our system is micro-inverter based so on the only two occasions where one failed, a simple email to JD and a new one was ordered and, when it arrived, the old was replaced, no charge.

JD Solar Solutions is a great company to work with. Damon and his team are always friendly and cover all the details up front. They installed my 32 panel system years ago. I’ve had to have one panel service and they came out within days during the holidays. I was pleasantly surprised.
Instaled Solar system in 2015 went smoothly, and had no issues. Later on, we had a problem with an inverter that died, they fixed it up and it’s been smooth sailing since! Our system has micro inverters, and it works for us.
Great team, many years past installation and they continue to monitor the performance of your system and know before you do if a piece needs replacing, and just do it! Recommend highly!
We are almost 10 years into our installation by JD Solar Solutions. Well designed system, seamless installation, and continuing service for inverter failures (4 out of 35 panels in a ten year period). Best of all, electric bill has all but disappeared and we heat and AC with electric heat pump.
We’ve had a great experience w/ JD Solar solutions. We’re now in our 6th year of solar and the panels are running strong. We had one panel that was under performing and JD took care of it w/ no charge.
